Operational Engineering Administrative Planner Salary: £30,000 plus benefits and Profit Related Bonus Hours: Mon-Fri: 07:00 - 16:00, 07:30 - 16:30 or 08:00 - 17:00 to suit Location: Avonmouth Benefits * Profit-related bonus pay * Excellent Pension Scheme -4% Employee and 8% Employer * Health services including sick scheme * Life Insurance * Generous annual leave – 25 days * Subsidised on-site canteen * Free on-site gym * Training and progression opportunities within own training school * Opportunities to progress your career within a dynamic company Our client, a busy operational site, where no day is the same, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Planner to support their busy Operational Engineering team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination and planning of engineering activities, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys working in a technical or operational environment. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, coordinate, and schedule engineering inspections and operational tasks. * Maintain accurate records and documentation using Microsoft Office tools. * Communicate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and contractors. * Support the teams through general admin tasks. * Support compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures. * Work within stores onboarding and cataloguing technical spares. * Demonstrating an excellent attitude to our continuous improvement culture, bringing new ideas to the team to enable smarter working, rather than harder working! Requirements: * Proven experience in an administrative or planning role (engineering or technical sector advantageous) * Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outllok, Teams, SharePoint essential). * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Ability to work with Computer Maintenance Management Systems and other specialist software packages (Training provided). * Full, clean UK driving license.
