We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive our continued growth across the Foodservice sector. This role is key to managing existing customer accounts, generating new business opportunities, and delivering sustainable growth within your designated region. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to create long-term, value-based relationships while promoting Around Noon as a partner of choice. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular contact, strategic planning, and excellent service delivery. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to fully understand their business needs and challenges. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the region. Lead prospective clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless handover and setup. Collaborate with internal teams, including NPD, marketing, operations, and finance, to deliver customer-centric solutions. Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline updates, and activity tracking through the CRM system. Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities and threats. Deliver accurate reporting, sales forecasting, and activity updates to the Head of Sales. Represent the company at relevant trade events, exhibitions, and customer presentations. Essential Skills and Experience Proven experience in a business development, sales, or lead generation role, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand customer profitability and business drivers. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and customer data effectively. Solid IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Highly organised and able to manage multiple prospects and priorities simultaneously. Self-starter with a proactive, target-driven mindset. Flexible to travel within the UK/Ireland as required for customer visits and industry events. Full, clean driving licence. Personal Attributes Enthusiastic, professional, and driven to succeed.
