Overview
Leadership of the ASDA Snacks team (ME, Express and Online) responsible for £145mm Net Rev / £80mm MC business with 2nd biggest OT customer
This is a L10 role and responsible for creating and delivering the Asda Snacks commercial plan across main estate, small formats and online whilst building capability and culture within the direct team and unlocking key relationships across the Asda business
Reporting in to Sales Director The role has 2 direct reports (1 permanent ones) – L9 Snacks CBM,& ASDA Snacks implant (seconded role on a 12mth placement) and will work alongside the L9 MAC Online Manger who also reports into the Sales Director. Cross functional leadership with matrix management across GCC, online, Supply, category, finance and shopper
Responsibilities
• Build and deliver the commercial omni-channel plan within ASDA delivering key financial and executional KPIs to deliver long term sustainable growth • Track, monitor and diagnose performance across the year to ensure timely and appropriate interventions are taken to protect performance. • Broader leadership of Cross-Functional Team including Category Insights, Shopper Marketing, Finance Business Partner and Supply Chain to support the delivery of the annual plan• Build winning relationships with the customer not only within trading but across other core functions to deliver top tier AGS scores • Build and develop capability within the ASDA direct team through coaching and training.
Qualifications
• Broad multi-channel sales experience, preferably UK organised trade and in FMCG • Skilled negotiator – ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations both at tactical and strategic/contractual level• Evidence of leadership and people development skills • Strong results orientation, track record of hitting and exceeding targets through insight led action plans • Ability to demonstrate problem solving from diagnosis through to correction • Influencing skills – demonstration of ability to influence both internal and external agenda• Commercial acumen – strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda
