The Commercial Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth through securing and managing sponsorship deals, commercial partnerships, and other revenue-generating initiatives. This role demands a dynamic individual with a strong background in sales, marketing, and relationship management within the sports industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship Acquisition:
* Identify and pursue potential sponsorship opportunities with local, national, and international brands.
* Develop compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to prospective partners.
* Negotiate sponsorship agreements to maximize revenue and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Partnership Management:
* Maintain and nurture relationships with existing sponsors and partners.
* Ensure the fulfilment of sponsorship agreements, including branding, hospitality, and promotional activities.
* Conduct regular reviews with partners to assess performance and explore opportunities for renewal or expansion.
* Develop and implement the club’s commercial strategy to drive revenue growth.
* Identify new commercial opportunities and innovative revenue streams.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment and execution of commercial initiatives.
Event Coordination:
* Plan and execute sponsorship and commercial events, including matchday activations, sponsor hospitality, and community outreach programs.
* Coordinate with the events team to ensure seamless delivery and maximum sponsor engagement.
Market Research and Analysis:
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.
* Analyze commercial performance data and provide insights to inform decision-making.
Marketing and Promotion:
* Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns that highlight sponsor partnerships and commercial activities.
* Ensure sponsors receive appropriate visibility across the club’s marketing channels, including social media, website, and in-stadium signage.
Reporting and Administration:
* Prepare regular reports on sponsorship performance and commercial activities.
* Manage sponsorship budgets and financial tracking.
* Ensure all contracts and agreements are documented and filed appropriately.
