We are seeking an ambitious software Business Developer / Sales Executive to work for a fast-growing company in central London. This internationally recognised company houses some of the worlds brightest minds, fostering ideas and developing brand new technology in consumer electronics, IoT devices, wireless technology, AI / Machine Learning, VR and Video, Audio and DSP and Robotics space. These technologies are making a huge impact in industry sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, manufacturing, medtech, cleantech and service IoT.
This role will see you work in partnership with the Sales Director focused on building and fostering new relationships with potential clients, introducing them to the world-class consulting and software development services on offer. You will utilise your skills in B2B sales and lead generation to open up new opportunities in a myriad of different industries sectors, such as medtech, cleantech, fintech, IoT, connected devices, defence, automotive, consumer electronics, etc.

We are looking for someone with a technical background in software development, maybe through a degree or has worked as a software engineer before moving into sales.

This role offers huge potential and a unique opportunity to deliver an already proven and respected international brand to the UK market.

Responsibilities of Software Business Developer / Software Sales Executive

Build a network and find new leads in the UK market
Understand the market, develop a strong network, build a pipeline, and deliver sales.
Work with the marketing team to increase brand awareness in the UK
Requirements of Software Business Developer / Software Sales Executive
Degree educated in technical discipline – ideally Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, etc.
B2B sales development experience selling software solutions (software design consultancy, or SaaS, or software development services, outsourced solutions, etc)
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
An ability to innovate new approaches to business development opportunities
Experience from IoT, consumer electronics, wireless communication, aerospace / defence software market is beneficial
Previous experience working in software development beneficial
Demonstrated stakeholder and project management skills
Willingness to travel, primarily across the UK but also abroad

Salary: £50k - £65k basic + excellent commission / bonus package.
