DaVita is seeking a Dialysis Tech (PCT) to serve patients at our Dover Dialysis Center in Dover, OH.
Position Details:
* Operational Hours: MWF 3a-8p, TTHS 3a-6p (12-hour shifts, flexible within these ranges)
* Expected shifts: 3-4 days/week, with at least two Saturdays/month; early start as early as 3:00 am
* Training hours may vary; typically 32-40 hours/week during training
* Work schedule includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Training & Certification:
Paid training program combining classroom and hands-on learning. Reimbursement for Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license. Opportunities for career advancement through our clinical ladder.
Requirements:
* Dependable, reliable, and comfortable in high-stress environments
* Desire to help critically ill patients and pursue a long-term career
* Comfort with early shifts and long hours on your feet
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Comfort working around blood, needles, and mixing acids or bicarb
* Flexibility to work across multiple clinics as needed
* Healthcare experience preferred: BONENT Certified, CHT, CNA, CMA, or Phlebotomy certification
Job Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care during dialysis treatments
* Prepare water and machine setup, monitor patients, record stats, and observe patient condition
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions
* Effective communication and computer skills
