Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Eating Disorders

Join us as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Eating Disorders. This is a new post in the Complex Eating Disorders Service, working alongside three other consultants.
The community role will involve direct clinical care and providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team (MDT) which includes specialist nurses, nurse therapists, clinical psychologist, dietitians, occupational therapists, social workers and peer support workers.

Main duties of the job
In the community role, you will attend team meetings, formal multi-disciplinary reviews and case conferences, informal patient reviews and professionals' discussions. Running regular clinics for new patient assessments and follow up.

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
* Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months of obtaining CCT
* Approved Clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
* Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
* Knowledge in Eating Disorders

£109,725 to £145,478 a year dependent on experience
