About the role
As a Deputy Manager of a children's residential home, you will support the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with Ofsted standards. You will lead and supervise staff, manage rotas, and contribute to recruitment, training and performance development. The role includes maintaining accurate records, overseeing care planning, safeguarding residents, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. You will liaise effectively with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies to promote well-being, dignity and independence, and assist with audits, inspections and compliance requirements.
