Job Description
What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our Restructuring & Recovery Services team in Birmingham. Your role will involve assisting with the supervision of the restructuring and recovery process from planning through review and completion.
As a Restructuring & Recovery Services Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include, among others:
* Maintaining a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensuring they are efficiently and proactively progressed.
* Participating in independent business reviews and other advisory work as needed.
* Liaising with the appointee and other Evelyn Partners staff to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues.
* Briefing and motivating staff to complete cases efficiently.
* Reviewing staff work and providing constructive feedback on performance.
* Providing training to staff through on-the-job experience.
* Ensuring all work is reviewed and files are completed to a review-ready standard.
* Attending final meetings with clients and relevant managers or appointees.
* Identifying opportunities to provide further services.
* Assisting the Manager and Partner/Director in meeting client needs and extending our range of services.
* Exceeding service level expectations where possible.
* Attending marketing events as appropriate.
* Reviewing statutory documents for compliance with insolvency regulations and standards.
* Preparing case reviews and briefing partners on work carried out and business issues.
* Assisting Managers and Partners/Directors in managing WIP and debtors on a client-by-client basis.
Experience in advisory assignments and corporate administrations/liquidations is necessary.
Knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements is required.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new procedures and situations.
Strong organizational skills to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Ideally CIP qualified.
