Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Customer Development Manager to join our client in Beccles. This role is with a well-known manufacturing company supplying products to the beauty retail and pharmaceutical sectors. The business is innovative and focused on developing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage existing and new business accounts to increase sales revenue and profitability
* Develop new business through product extensions and product development
* Focus on existing accounts and generate new business by actively managing intelligence and information
* Proactively manage internal sales activities to target profitable accounts
* Increase customer awareness of our full portfolio, supporting sales diversification across new services and products
* Work collaboratively with the Customer Management team to maintain visibility of projects and new product development
* Provide the Manager with information on new business opportunities across market sectors
* Handle customer complaints professionally
you will need
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
* Experience in a sales role, including contacting potential new clients
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for actions
* Highly motivated, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
