About the Role
As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you will carry out a range of electrical work and supervise Electrical Operatives and Contractors working on our clients' housing stock. Ensuring all electrical installations are safe for continued use to protect service users, the public, clients' personnel, and employees from electrical hazards.
You will assist with audit processes, adhere to strict quality control and electrical safety requirements, review electrical certifications, and support training, toolbox talks, and compliance activities.
Role Criteria
* Experience installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems and appliances according to the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
* Knowledge to install, repair, inspect, and test electrical installations; ability to fill in Electrical Certificates or Electrical Condition Reports correctly
* Flexibility to cover out-of-hours rota, including weekends and one day per week, to ensure contract compliance and service satisfaction
* Ensure electrical work complies with The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, BS 7671 (as amended), and Mears Electrical Procedures and Policies
* Ability to produce specifications and quotations, working closely with clients on electrical projects
Essential Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 including AM2
* Test & Inspection – City & Guilds 2391
* BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition) – City & Guilds 2382
* NICEIC compliance qualification
* Previous experience as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor
* UK Full driving licence
* Own hand tools
