Alexander Daniels are working with a well-established manufacturing business that’s looking to strengthen its finance function with an experienced Management Accountant (part-time circa 20 hours a week) who enjoys getting close to the numbers and supporting strategic decision-making.
The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial information and analysis to support the wider business. This is a varied, value-adding position within a supportive finance team.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing monthly management accounts and associated reports
* Delivering clear financial analysis to support business decisions
* Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
* Supporting statutory reporting requirements
* Working closely with the wider accounts and management teams
* Contributing within a manufacturing environment, including stock control and customs processes
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a group structure
* Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage 200, SAP or ERP systems
* Manufacturing sector experience (stock, WIP, customs procedures)
* High attention to detail with a naturally analytical mindset
* Confident communicator who works well across teams
