Job Description:
Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers, as well as a comprehensive selection of specialty fertilizers and soil conditioning products. The company also offers animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. Part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D takes place at the Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We are passionate about delivering superior technical advice on farms, which supports our growth alongside the quality of our products.
We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for the Northern Ireland region. The ideal candidate will develop long-term customer relationships and engage with key industry stakeholders. Reporting to the Speciality Business Commercial Manager, responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing strategic and operational plans to maximize sales and customer service within the region.
2. Enhancing the technical presentation of our product range to meet regional needs.
3. Optimizing distribution, operations, and costs.
4. Managing relationships with existing and new trade customers, including product support and credit control.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies in the region.
6. Supporting and managing the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to achieve sales and service excellence.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Participating in company development and operational teams.
Requirements:
* Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience as a sales manager or representative with target achievement.
* Technical knowledge of the agriculture sector.
* Strong commercial skills and relationship management at trade and farm levels.
* Leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities.
* Excellent communication and influence skills.
* Problem-solving attitude and organizational skills.
* Valid driver’s license.
