Overview
Graduate Learning Support Assistant - SEND/SEMH School - Gainsborough. Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs? Do you want to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and receive a truly inclusive education? Aspire People is closely working with several SEND/SEMH schools in the Gainsborough area. This role is ideal for a graduate looking to gain school-based experience, or an experienced learning support assistant seeking a new opportunity.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Work with pupils who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, medical needs and more
* Receive excellent support from the school and Aspire People
* Engage in a long-term position with school-based experience
Requirements
* Degree 2:2 or above, ideally psychology but any subjects considered
* Experience or knowledge of SEN
* Confident and enthusiastic, with a love of learning
* Passionate about education and supporting children with SEN
* Based in Gainsborough (other schools in other local towns available)
* DBS check required; safeguarding training provided
Benefits and Details
* Salary: 95-105 per day (long-term position)
* Work Monday - Friday, school hours, term time only
