What you'll be doing day to day
1. Prepare and submit Companies House filings including CS01s, officer changes, PSC updates, and other statutory forms.
2. Maintain accurate statutory registers and entity records in the firm’s systems.
3. Monitor statutory deadlines, issue reminders, and support clients and engagement teams.
4. Manage the shared company secretarial inbox and triage routine queries.
5. Update internal systems (e.g., Practice Engine) with billing, WIP and entity data.
6. Assist with onboarding and offboarding clients for company secretarial services.
7. Liaise with internal departments to coordinate information and ensure smooth service delivery.
8. Support clients with straightforward company secretarial queries and process guidance.
9. Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with GDPR and internal standards.
10. Work independently to manage your workload, troubleshoot issues, and meet deadlines.
About you
11. Strong attention to detail with accuracy in statutory filings and record‑keeping.
12. Understanding of Companies House requirements, or willingness to learn (training provided).
13. Previous experience in company secretarial, compliance, or professional services roles.
14. Confident using MS Office and quick to learn new systems; experience with entity management software is a plus.
15. Organised and able to prioritise multiple deadlines effectively.
16. Proactive problem‑solver who takes initiative and seeks solutions.
17. Strong communicator able to work professionally with a range of colleagues and clients.
18. Supportive team player who can also work independently when needed.
19. Discreet when handling confidential or sensitive information.
20. Ideally educated to A Level (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
