About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, focusing on GCSE curriculum requirements. Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate a variety of language learning techniques, cultural experiences, and interactive activities. Facilitate student-led conversations, presentations, and cultural projects, encouraging linguistic fluency, cultural awareness, and communication skills. Assess student progress through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Spanish curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current language teaching methodologies and cultural trends. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as Spanish clubs, film screenings, and cultural events, to enhance student learning and promote cultural immersion. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background in Spanish or Modern Foreign Languages. Experience teaching Spanish to GCSE level, with a focus on both linguistic and cultural aspects of the language. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and a deep understanding of Spanish culture. Commitment to fostering language learning and intercultural understanding in young people.
