You will work closely with the Head of Capital Projects, Project Design Engineers, Process Technical, Factory Technical, Site Engineering and H&S teams, as well as third-party suppliers and contractors.

* Ensuring a clear understanding of job requirements as defined by the Project Design team, delivering work to the correct standard and quality.
* Preparing and signing off all mandatory documentation including RAMS, Permit to Work, Technical Validations and Change Management.
* Scheduling works with site teams and contractors, raising permits, communicating with stakeholders, supervising tasks and signing off completed work.
* Coordinating shutdown planning, supervising contractors and ensuring full compliance with site rules and permit controls, including LOTO.
* Supporting engineering tasks required for the delivery of active projects and collecting verification data where needed.
What Will Make You Successful
You bring a strong engineering foundation and the confidence to supervise technical tasks safely and effectively, with a clear understanding of the importance of documentation, communication and stakeholder coordination in delivering successful projects. To succeed in this role, you will have ONC Engineering (minimum) or an equivalent qualification in an electrical or mechanical discipline, along with a time-served apprenticeship in an industrial environment.
You will also have around five years' experience in industry, ideally within dairy or a similar manufacturing setting, and a solid understanding of RAMS, Permit to Work processes, LOTO and technical validation requirements. The role calls for someone who can work collaboratively across multiple functions and with external contractors.
On a personal level, you will bring a strong commitment to safety and compliance, clear communication and stakeholder-management skills, and a proactive, organised approach to supervising and delivering engineering tasks.
