Location: Hybrid (East Midlands & Home) with UK travel
Package: c£60,000 + up to 25% bonus + £5,500 car allowance or electric company car + private medical + 25 days holiday + 10% pension

Our client is a leading name in the wholesale distribution sector, currently undergoing an exciting transformation. With major investments in digital innovation and operational excellence, they are seeking a commercially driven Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with their key national accounts. Whilst there aren’t any direct reports within this role, you will act as a mentor for a team of account managers.
This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of wholesale supply chains, operational dynamics, and commercial performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Take full ownership of a high-value customer portfolio, managing commercial performance, profitability, and long-term retention.
2. Build trusted strategic partnerships with C-suite and senior stakeholders across key accounts.
3. Develop and execute account plans aligned with client goals and the broader wholesale strategy.
