Job Title: Y1 Teacher Skelmersdale Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £140 - £200 Per day Job Description Job Duties: Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 1 students in line with the national curriculum Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff Create a positive learning environment that promotes student participation and motivation Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate educational activities and events Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behaviour Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Education or relevant field Enhanced DBS check Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting Experience working with Year 1 students Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 1 Excellent classroom management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Specialist training in early years education Working Conditions: Full-time temporary position Working hours may vary, but generally follow the school's schedule Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff and school leadership All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
