Global Hard FM Category Manager Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join a leading global business and take on the challenge of managing large value and complex projects within the Hard Facilities Management spend area.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in category management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective category strategies, end-to-end sourcing, and stakeholder engagement.
As a key member of the procurement team, you will work closely with senior business leads to develop category plans, advise stakeholders on market trends and supplier knowledge, and ensure the delivery of best commercial value for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Implement Category Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive category plans that drive cost savings and efficiency gains.
* End-to-End Sourcing: Manage the entire sourcing process, from identification to negotiation and contract award, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the business.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on market trends and supplier knowledge.
* Project Management: Oversee the delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in category management, with a focus on Hard FM.
* Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Certifications: MCIPS qualification desirable but not essential.
