1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Year 4 (CF11)
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work within a supportive primary school in the CF11 area. This rewarding role will involve providing tailored support to a pupil in a Year 4 class, starting after Easter.
Role Details:
* Location: CF11
* Start Date: After Easter
* Pay: £92 per day
* Contract: Full-time, ongoing
* Agency: Teaching Personnel
The Role:
You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a Year 4 class, supporting their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and engagement in the classroom. You will play a key role in helping the child access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s needs
* Support learning across the curriculum
* Implement strategies to support behaviour and engagement
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo
* Track and report on pupil progress where required
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
* Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs (desirable)
* Calm, patient and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
