Overview
We are seeking a PR and social media whizz to join our growing team in our central Cheltenham HQ. The newly created role of Social Media & PR Executive will work across a wide portfolio of clients covering leisure, hospitality and culture. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership and build the online presence and external communications of our impressive list of clients, helping us maintain strong relationships with key audiences and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging social media campaigns, creating compelling content, working with key journalists/channels and driving PR activity to enhance a range of exciting brand profiles. You will work closely with internal teams, key clients and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality communications across all channels.
Responsibilities
* Develop, plan, and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).
* Deliver strategic social campaigns, with Content Plans and regular content capture sessions.
* Create engaging and shareable content, including graphics, photography, video, and written posts.
* Monitor social media channels, respond to messages/comments, and manage online community engagement.
* Track performance analytics, providing regular reports and recommendations for growth.
* Support PR campaigns, including writing press releases, liaising with media outlets, and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
* Assist in organising and promoting activations, content creator events, previews, launches, and campaigns.
* Maintain brand consistency across all communications.
* Travel within Cheltenham and surrounding counties for content creation, press opportunities, and events.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a social media, PR, or communications role.
* Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
* Confident using social media management and analytics tools.
* Basic photography, videography, and editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar).
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
* Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
