Associate Commissioning Owners Representative – Data Centres (Finland)

Role Description
The role will be responsible for the project management of the commissioning process from the project’s commencement to its close‑out. Working with stakeholders, general contractors, commissioning agents and architect/engineering consultants, the role will lead, coordinate, track and drive all parties’ activities to deliver a well‑managed and successful conclusion to the commissioning process. The scope of service will not be limited to a single project but will support multiple projects of various sizes and at different stages.
The candidate may be based 100% in Finland or may travel internationally to Finland.
Role Accountabilities
* Design: review the design at key stages and comment on its suitability for commissioning; attend design page turns; review the specification commissioning clauses and support their drafting.
* Procurement: review tender documents and trade packages prior to issue to ensure scope is suitable for commissioning; review fee proposals and trade contractor tender returns to ensure compliance.
* Meetings: attend quality kick‑off meetings, provide leadership for site quality induction and audits, attend daily startup meetings, chair daily/weekly commissioning meetings, attend weekly quality meetings, report commissioning status, and attend various coordination meetings.
* Reporting: generate a commissioning dashboard with statistics, metrics, and quality reports; provide data for the monthly DC stat report; transfer lessons learned from site teams.
Qualifications & Experience
* In‑depth understanding of large‑scale technical projects and construction techniques.
* Ability to manage technical disciplines.
* Experience working on data centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably on hyperscale builds.
* Ability to commit to significant international travel.
