The Role:
As the EYFS Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across the foundation stage. You will lead a team of EYFS practitioners, support their professional development, and work closely with parents and carers to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the EYFS team to deliver high-quality early years education
* Planning and overseeing the EYFS curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of all children
* Supporting the professional development of EYFS staff and providing guidance on best practices
* Monitoring and assessing children s progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met
* Promoting positive relationships with parents and carers to support children s development
* Ensuring the EYFS setting is a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Working closely with senior leadership to maintain high standards across the school
What We re Looking For:
* QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification (EYFS-specific training is desirable)
* Significant experience working in an EYFS setting, with a proven leadership background
* In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education
* Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for supporting both children and staff
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
