1. Salary: £48,600 - £53,200 (inclusive of shift allowance)
2. Performance related company bonus

4. Shifts: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off- 12 hour shifts 7 - 7

What are we looking for?
1. Intermediate level of mechanical or electrical or utilities or controls expertise.
2. Proven record of maintaining industrial equipment.
3. Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving Electrical or Controls or Mechanical/Utilities issues within a manufacturing environment.
4. Electrical - diagnosing faults and maintaining equipment such as VSD's, circuit protection and safety circuits.
5. Controls - experience of PLC's, Allen Bradley preferred but not essential.
6. Mechanical - diagnosing faults and maintaining equipment such as chain drives, transmission systems, complex mechanical machines.
7. Utilities - experience working with HVAC systems, steam plant, refrigeration systems.
8. Experienced in basic and complex problem solving.
9. Engineering Qualification such as Served Apprenticeship and/or BTEC/NVQ or equivalent.
10. An action-oriented, results-driven individual with great customer focus who works well with people.
11. Priority setting supporting breakdowns and focus where necessary.
What will be your key responsibilities?
1. You will be responsible for fault diagnosis and resolving technical failures on production machinery, including Electrical, Controls, and Mechanical issues.
2. Detailed reporting and recording of maintenance work using our SAP system.
3. Provide technical support and coaching to assist others in resolution of equipment failures with Safety and Quality in mind.
4. Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen).
5. Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on major unplanned breakdowns and recurring problems.
6. Undertake preventative maintenance activities, repairs, filler jobs, etc.
