Our client in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst in the £44,000 to £50,000 salary range.

The role will provide involvement in developing medium and longer term financial financial plans working with management across the broader business.
In this process you will utlise data to inform decision making and seek new avenues to improve financial performance.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
* Medium/long term financial planning with associated variance analysis
* Business modelling and sensitivity analysis
* Assisting systems upgrades to ERP systems
* Cash flow and funding forecasts
Potential candidates should have a basic understanding of accounting being potentially ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified or working towards this or equivalent, and bring some relevant experience initially.
Qualities/experience you will ideally be able to illustrate will include
* Some experience of financial planning and budgeting
* Ability to thrive in a close knit team where team working is paramount
* IT literacy in standatd packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
* Business awareness with good communication/questioning skills
* Work with real attention to detail
Basic salary is likely to be in the £44,000 to £50,000 range with benefits and flexible start/finish times, although the role is site based 5 days a week.
