Key duties of the role:
Lead, motivate, and develop the parts department team to ensure peak performance
Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce discrepancies
Oversee receipt, interpretation, and efficient dispatch of parts to retail, trade, and workshop customers
Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile stock variances, and maintain accurate transactional records
Communicate effectively with senior management regarding backorders and supply chain issues
Assist customers professionally, ensuring their parts requirements are fully understood and met
Ensure vehicle health checks are accurately performed to optimise workshop throughput
Address customer concerns promptly and deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Support workshop operations through effective parts supply and stock management
Candidate profile for the Parts Supervisor position:
Proven experience in a main dealer parts environment, with supervisory responsibilities
Knowledge of Kerridge or similar dealership management systems
Familiarity with brand-specific parts and systems is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Excellent communication skills and professional appearance aligned with dealership standards
Full UK Driving Licence is essential
Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday on a rota basis (Saturday overtime paid)
Ability to maintain accurate records and deliver high standards of customer service
