Job Title: People Change Manager
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full time, 37.5 hours
Location: Salford Quays
Salary Banding: £52,000 – £57,000 plus fantastic benefits
About this role
Are you ready to lead impactful people change projects in a dynamic, forward thinking organisation? We’re looking for a People Change Manager to join our People Transformation and Change team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic change initiatives across the Market Unit. From mergers and acquisitions to organisational redesign and integration, you’ll manage complex projects that shape the future of our business—ensuring outcomes are delivered effectively, safely, and in line with our people values.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
1. Leading people workstreams for mergers, acquisitions, divestments, closures, and outsourcing projects—covering the full lifecycle from planning to integration.
2. Managing end-to-end change projects, including consultation processes, stakeholder engagement, and the development of tailored communications, tools, and materials.
3. Partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes that align with our people values and business goals.
4. Using data and insight to assess commercial and employment legal risks, shape project approaches, and support strategic decision-making.
5. Contributing to strategic proposals and business cases and supporting the development of consistent tools and processes for people change delivery.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re comfortable with ambiguity, confident managing multiple stakeholders, and excited by the opportunity to shape impactful change.
Key Skills / Experience needed for this role:
6. Proven experience managing TUPE transfers and restructures
7. Experience of leading large-scale restructure and redundancy projects
8. Strong HR project management skills in complex, ambiguous environments
9. A commercial mindset and the ability to assess legal and employment risks
10. Confidence in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
11. A can-do attitude, adaptability, and a passion for making a difference
