Introduction to Annie:
Annie lives independently in her own flat in Edinburgh. She is a lovely young woman who enjoys spending time with her support team. Despite having a physical disability, she is fully capable intellectually and holds numerous qualifications.
As Annie, she enjoys having a chat and a laugh with her team, and she appreciates support staff with a good sense of humour. She loves attending rugby games in Edinburgh and Scotland with her stepdad, visiting the local library for printed and audio books, and shopping at Sainsbury's for bargains.
Her interests include watching the news, movies, and shows on Netflix and Disney+, and discussing these with her support staff. She also enjoys sports like tennis, athletics, and rugby on TV. Christmas is her favorite time of year, especially for the festive atmosphere and Christmas movies, which she watches early in the season. Annie also loves music, particularly pop and rock, and enjoys watching music videos.
Support staff should be compassionate, person-centred, and respectful of her wishes, helping her maintain independence. Annie wants a team who can support her interests and make her feel happy and safe, enabling her to live her best life.
If you share these values, we would love to hear from you. Annie needs your support to live her best life.
