Looking for a role that keeps you on your toes and makes a real difference? This could be just the thing.
As a Support Worker in Airdrie, you’ll be out and about helping young adults aged 18+ live life their way. One morning it might be supporting someone to try a local class. That afternoon, it could be helping with shopping, heading to an appointment, or simply being there when things feel a bit much.
Most of your work will be in Airdrie, though you may also support people in the surrounding areas. You’ll also have the flexibility to choose hours that suit you – anywhere between 16 and 30 per week.
No two days are the same. The support flexes to the person – their pace, their goals, their choices. You’re not just ticking boxes. You’re helping someone feel more confident, capable and connected.
You’ll bring some experience in care or support work, a natural ability to build trust and listen, the confidence to work independently while keeping good records, and a calm, kind presence whatever the day brings.
What you can expect:
1. Support to work towards your SVQ Level 3 if you don’t already have it
2. A team that values people – those we support and those we work alongside
3. Encouragement, space to grow and develop
4. The satisfaction of knowing you’re doing something that matters – one person, one day at a time
