Team Member Salary (Grade 1) - £12.60 per hour 2 permanent flexible shift workers required - working 10am - 3pm, various days - minimum 2 shifts per month with extra shifts available. Location : Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton, Somerset. Our epic story is of the Royal Navy, and its impact on Britain and the world. This is a great opportunity to join the team: Our visitor experience team is made up of Team Members and Managers working together to deliver an outstanding level of customer care. The team supports visitors across our attraction in all areas such as visitor engagement, ticketing, guidebook sales, cafe and retail. Our aim is to deliver a first-class visitor experience at our unique heritage attraction. We are proud of our Team Members who demonstrate a willingness to learn, communicate and engage positively with diverse audiences and ensure the safety and security of our visitors. What you can bring: A friendly and engaging communication style, with the ability to work with diverse audiences. Demonstrable understanding of why excellent customer service standards is critical to success. Display an understanding of commercial awareness and its importance. Experience of working in a customer focused environment with retail and sales knowledge an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given. Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and Security requirements and/or a willingness to learn more. Ability to work under pressure during busy periods. This is a varied role with the opportunity to work in our shop, cafe and within our galleries. Assist in the safety and security for visitors, staff and property. Be willing to be trained in our fire evacuation procedure and be confident to put this knowledge into practise during fire drills and genuine evacuations.
