Overview
We are looking for a maths intervention tutor to teach Mathematics to individual pupils or small groups of selected pupils in Year 11. This is a fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work with Year 11 pupils who are not making the expected rate of progress. These students may be working at either the Foundation or the Higher tier. Both the Bridge Academy Trust’s Director of Maths and the maths faculty will provide ongoing support to ensure that this new, exciting role has the maximum impact.
Responsibilities
* Teach Mathematics to Year 11 pupils either one-to-one or in small groups.
* Support pupils who are not meeting expected progress, with possible Foundation or Higher tier considerations.
* Collaborate with the Bridge Academy Trust’s Director of Maths and the maths faculty to maximise impact of the role.
Qualifications
* Educated in maths up to GCE A level or level 3 equivalence.
* Grade B/Grade 6+ in GCSE Maths.
* PGCE or equivalent and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
