Design Technology Technician
Grade 4, SCP 6 – 11, 37 hours per week (08.00 am – 15.10 pm), 39 weeks a year
Salary: Actual salary £22,524 - £24,944
We are seeking a practical, creative Design & Technology Technician with a passion for supporting education, dedicated and eager to join our dynamic team.
Required from February 2026 an enthusiastic and experienced technician to support the Design Technology curriculum area across years 7 to 9, KS4 and KS5.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare and maintain equipment, tools, and materials for Design & Technology lessons.
•Support teachers and students during practical sessions, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
•Assist in the development of teaching resources and displays.
•Maintain and monitor stock levels, placing orders as required.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workshop.
