Mereside Medical is aflourishing group of three East Cambridgeshire practices in Ely, Haddenham andSoham, together serving over 42,500 patients. As a group, weve grown rapidly and now employ morethan 140 people across the three practices. We are purposeful in our efforts to manage GP workload and ensure sustainability,having developed a diverse and large team of support staff over recent years.Admin teams process letters, enact medication changes, and undertake medicationreviews. We have clinical support from a large nursing team and AdvancedPractitioner team. The duty team consists of a duty GP supported by AdvancedPractitioners and nurses working together in the same room, creating acollaborative, supportive environment in which to manage the on-the-dayworkload together.
We embrace technology to enable more effective andefficient ways of working. All practices use SystmOne and AskMyGP for managingpatient queries, meaning our waiting time for appointments is zero and ouraccessibility rating is excellent. We use MS Teams to enable regular videomeetings across sites and facilitate more rapid collaborative working.

We are looking to employ salaried GPs to fill thesesessions at either:
* GP-2, 15 clinical contacts, £12.5k per session; or
* GP-3, 17 clinical contacts, £13.6k per session (session rates are prior to the 2025DDRB review)
Patientlist sizes are also relative to level.
