Choices Healthcare is seeking a full-time Receptionist & Admin Assistant to join the Southend team to assist with standard reception and administration duties.
Responsibilities
* Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
* Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls and emails
* Be in regular communication with carers, clients and healthcare professionals
* Assist with the maintenance of the care planner/rota
* Ensure up-to-date maintenance of both computerised and manual filing systems
* Maintaining stationary stock levels and the general office premises
* General filing, word processing, and inputting data
* Any other ad hoc duties
Requirements
* Must have at least one year reception and/or administration experience
* Healthcare experience would be an advantage
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be confident using the phone
* Be friendly and welcoming
* Be patient and understanding
* Able to work in a team but use own initiative
* Deal with people who may be disgruntled or upset
* Having a good attitude to work and flexibility are essential for this post
