About the Role
:
You will provide comprehensive HR advisory support across multiple care branches, ensuring cases are managed consistently and in line with company policies and employment legislation. The role requires confidence in managing complex cases, influencing managers, and balancing commercial risk with fair outcomes.
1. Provide employee relations advice across absence management, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances
2. Log, monitor and manage casework accurately, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation
3. Train, guide and support managers on HR processes and effective case management
4. Analyse HR data and trends to identify issues and support the development of people plans
5. Represent HR at complex meetings including dismissals, ill health capability and appeals
6. Monitor and support absence management, liaising with Occupational Health as required
7. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture in line with the Group’s Fairness and Inclusion strategy
8. Support trade union engagement alongside the HR Business Partner
9. Assist with HR projects including restructures, change management and TUPE
10. Support local recruitment and social value initiatives within the community
Key Criteria:
11. Experience advising on a wide range of employee relations casework
12. Exposure to working with trade unions
13. Strong analytical skills with experience identifying trends and insights
14. Experience delivering training or coaching managers on HR processes
15. Ability to work effectively in a high volume, fast paced environment
16. Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points
17. CIPD qualification, regulated industry experience or TUPE knowledge desirable
