SEN Teaching Assistant

* Salary: £95 a day
* Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a supportive educational setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about assisting students with additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
* Support the implementation of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to promote effective learning.
* Encourage student engagement and foster independence in learning.
* Assist in behaviour management and help maintain a positive and safe environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, SEMH) is highly desirable.
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
* A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to handle the varying needs of students.
