About the Role
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, proactive Account Coordinator to join our growing team in Gateshead. If you’re a natural communicator, highly organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make a real impact.
You’ll be the key link between our customers and internal teams—ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and a first-class service experience across your portfolio of accounts.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage a portfolio of customer accounts with precision and care
* Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery targets are consistently met
* Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams (planning, production, transport)
* Launch new products and support account growth
* Identify and resolve issues proactively—before they become problems
* Monitor key reports and trackers (aged stock, reserves, WIP, extras, etc.)
* Maintain accurate data from order to invoice
* Support colleagues during leave and provide full handovers
* Visit customers off-site when needed
* Suggest process improvements and contribute to team success
What You’ll Bring
* Excellent customer-facing skills and a positive attitude
* Manufacturing background preferred
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Highly organised with great time management
* Proven ability to influence and collaborate across departments
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* Attention to detail and analytical thinking
* Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
