Job Responsibilities and Requirements
To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any updates.
Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements, ensuring a high standard of service to support contract retention.
Undertake ongoing training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager, in accordance with UK Law and guidance bodies.
* Complete all tasks on site as defined in the published AI's.
* Review and familiarize oneself with AI's regularly, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
* Maintain compliance with industry and statutory legislation, including holding a front-line security license (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. Additional required courses must be completed.
* Follow instructions and safety procedures diligently.
* Work systematically and methodically.
Training
* Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
* Engage in additional training for self-development as directed.
* Utilize technology to meet work objectives and enhance professional knowledge.
* Renew licenses 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
* Remain alert to threats or environmental changes, taking appropriate action.
* Maintain professionalism in challenging situations and with difficult customers.
* Accurately document incidents promptly.
* Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
* Carry out check calls as scheduled in the AI's.
* Report incidents to emergency services and the Communication Centre.
Previous Security Experience
* SIA License required.
* SC Clearance is desirable.
