An Architect ideally with digital and solutions experience is required by my prestigious client to work on leading edge Smart Places (OT/IT) programmes.
Were looking for an experienced Architect with strong IT/OT integration experience to help design and deliver next-generation smart places - from cities and campuses to stadia and major venues. Candidates coming from a technical domain in buildings are ideal but those from utilities or energy with a consulting background are also of interest.
This role sits within a growing digital team working on high-profile, real-world projects where technology, data and the built environment intersect.
What Youll Do
* Design end-to-end smart place architectures (IoT, data platforms, digital twins, building systems, cloud)
* Translate business and user needs into technical designs, roadmaps and specifications
* Lead technical discovery, workshops and stakeholder engagement
* Oversee solution delivery, vendor selection and system integration
* Ensure solutions meet cybersecurity, standards and data governance requirements
* Lead delivery workstreams and manage client relationships
* Support team development and continuous improvement
What Were Looking For
* Experience as a Architect or lead designer
* Strong understanding of interoperable IT/OT systems
* Knowledge of IoT platforms, cloud services, sensors, edge computing and data architecture
* Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
* Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience with digital twins, Real Time data platforms or analytics
* Knowledge of cybersecurity, networking or ICT infrastructure
* Background in smart stadia, venues or large-scale urban projects
Central London based, hybrid working with x2 days on site. Base salary is flexible depending upon experience.
