We are recruiting a Locum Dentist for an immediate start in a busy, predominantly NHS practice in Salford. This is ideal for a clinician who’s quick on their feet, confident with general dentistry, and happy working in a high-needs environment with strong patient demand. About the practice 4 surgeries total with a well-run diary and supportive front-of-house team Modern clinical setup including CBCT, OPG, digital scanner and rotary endo Experienced, trained nurses and a collaborative atmosphere Free parking nearby and easy local transport links The role Predominantly NHS with scope to grow private work if you want it High UDA availability and a consistent patient flow in a high-demand area Opportunity to support composite bonding / cosmetic-style dentistry as private demand grows Working hours: 8:00am–5:00pm with 1-hour lunch (negotiable) Working pattern & cover needs Immediate start required Minimum 3-month booking, with real potential to extend 2 days available - Monday and Thursday Practice is also planning permanent cover from April 2026 for the right person What’s on offer Locum pay: up to £16/UDA (plus clear private earning potential) Private split: 50/50 with 50/50 lab fees Efficient clinical systems well-trained nursing support to help you work at pace without compromising quality Requirements GDC registered Dentist NHS Performer Number 3 years’ post-grad experience (ideally with solid NHS experience) Confident, efficient, and patient-focused in general dentistry Interested in this position?
