The role will be provided planned care for patients both pre and post cardiac catheter lab procedures. Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Cardiology Cath Lab Nurse and will be responsible for the following duties;
* Provide care for patients both pre and post cardiac catheter lab procedures
* Participate in the pre-assessment of all cath lab patients
* Develop practice in assessment of health and wellbeing needs
* Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
* Develop and improve services and quality
* Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice within the speciality of cardiology
* Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment
Who we’re looking for
* Be NMC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
* Minimum of 1 years experience in the UK in cath lab as a nurse
* Cardiology experience highly desirable
* Experience in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of cardiac cath lab procedures
* Competence across a range of nursing skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional assessment skills
