We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated relief support workers to join our team providing support to people living in our supported housing development in Longwood, Huddersfield.
Our service in Calderdale has recently been assessed by CQC as 'Outstanding' at being 'responsive to meeting people's needs and helping them achieve and celebrate goals relating to their health, independence and social lives'.
Responsibilities
* Work effectively as part of a team to provide person‑centred support in a consistent manner to promote independence, inclusion, wellbeing and personal development.
* Deliver personalized support based around activities that include daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry; supporting people to meet their personal care needs; and enabling people to safely access their local community.
* Pick up shifts at a time that suits you, making the role ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities.
Requirements
* Twelve months minimum of previous experience within a care role.
* Must attend mandatory induction training courses to begin the role.
* Applicants must be located in and eligible to work within the UK.
* Experience with people who have learning or physical disabilities is essential.
