This role will be part of the Phoenix Transformation programme, a unique one-time transformation opportunity designed to enable Nomad Foods to deliver, and possibly exceed, its financial goals through the strategy of ‘Simplify, Standardise, Automate & Transform’. Phoenix is a portfolio of change projects and programmes, coming together as a business-led, technology enabled transformation to be delivered over a 3-year period (2022-2025) in three waves. The portfolio is coordinated via the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC), connecting the dots across a set of Functional and Cross-Functional Workstreams. Specific technology changes being delivered as part of the Phoenix programme include: Shift from SAP ECC to S4 Hana (covering a number of modules supporting business processes areas such as Finance and Supply Chain) Shift from Coupa (connected to SAP ECC) to Ariba (Phase 1 into SAP ECC, Phase 2 into S4 Hana) Introduction of the SAP Sales Cloud CRM system Introduction of the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Analytics Hub We are looking for a Senior Test Manager/ Lead with experience of managing test phases esp. User Acceptance Testing and managing defect process on SAP S/4 HANA projects. This statement of work (SOW) outlines the responsibilities and expectations for the Programme Test and Defect Lead who will own, lead and manage the Testing and Defect management process for the Phoenix Programme. Key Skill Areas: Being part of at least two SAP S/4 HANA implementations Broad understanding of the SAP S/4 HANA landscape and modules – Worked as part of programme involving Finance Transformation (Mandatory) Experience of managing key test Phases like System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing Experience of creating Test strategy documents and Test plans Experience of managing Defect process as a lead and understanding of a Defect Lifecycle Experience of running Triage calls including and involving Senior Business SMEs / GPOs Experience of managing Defect Tracker and producing Defect Dashboards esp. for consumption at Senior Exec level Experience of working and collaborating with Third Party System Integrators for coordination Strong ability to work with offshore teams. Experience of using ALM as a tool for managing defects (Desired) Worked as part of programme involving Supply Chain Transformation (Desired) Responsibilities: Defect Management (Wave1, 2 &3) Owns the overall Defect management process. Responsible for facilitating initial analysis and discussion on the severity and area of analysis / fix for a defect. Responsible for status and progress of defects including follow-up of closure of all defects. Responsible for coordinating with Test Manager, GPOs/ BAs, Functional leads. Tech teams and resolver groups for resolution Responsible for conducting Daily Triage and Daily Defect progress review calls. Work with the System Integrator to manage the Defect Tracker Responsible for creating and owning the Dashboard. Circulating a daily Defect Progress report and providing updates to Tier2 reports Work with the technical team to resolve any defects identified during UAT testing. Close out all open issues, ensuring all defects have been resolved and tested. Provide inputs into the Tier 2 Status reporting on Defects. Test Management (Waves 2 &3) Works with the Programme Test Manager to lead and manage the testing process. Creation of Test plans and overseeing test creation process working alongside GPOs and SMEs Develop a comprehensive UAT test plan, including timelines, User test cases, and test data. Coordinate with the business users, project team, and technical team to understand their specific testing needs. Strong communication skills to work with a 3rd party testing team. Identify and document the UAT environment, including hardware, software, and network configurations. Coordinate with business users and other stakeholders to ensure that testing is performed in accordance with their requirements. Ensure that all test results are captured, documented, and reported in a timely manner. Validate that all UAT testing is complete and that the SAP 4 HANA system meets all business requirements, this will include 3rd party applications. Close out all open issues, ensuring all defects have been resolved and tested. Prepare a final UAT test report, summarising the testing results and highlighting any areas of concern. Provide recommendations for any further testing that may be required before the SAP 4 HANA system is released to production. Producing Test execution stats
