- You will manage staff, budgets and resources to deliver value for money and agreed public health outcomes.
- Using your strong influencing and partnership-building skills, you will work across statutory, voluntary and commercial sectors to ensure services are coordinated and maximise population health impact.
- Overseeing performance and reporting outcomes for senior leadership and members, you will support assurance, accountability and continuous improvement.
What we need from you
- We require you to hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in public health or an equivalent field, or demonstrate equivalent senior-level experience in public health, service commissioning or delivery.
- You will be a strategic thinker, capable of solving complex problems, influencing decisions and operating effectively within multi-agency environments.
- With proven leadership and management experience, you will be able to lead, motivate and develop teams to deliver improved population health outcomes and reduce inequalities.
- It is essential that you have a track record of leading strategies, programmes or projects, with evidence of delivering tangible results.
- Given the nature of the role, you will be confident in supporting evidence-informed decision-making within partnership or system environments.
- We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, alongside the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
