Finance Project Business Partner
Location: Reading (2 days on-site)
Salary: £65,000-£75,000

As Finance Project Business Partner, you’ll work directly with senior leaders, shaping decisions, driving alignment and ensuring the successful delivery of high‑impact programmes across the finance function.
This role offers exceptional exposure to C‑suite decision‑making and is designed as a development springboard into broader Finance, Commercial or PMO leadership roles.
What You’ll Lead
* Finance Transformation: Support and steer key transformation initiatives, ensuring clarity, alignment and measurable progress across the finance landscape.
* PMO & Programme Delivery: Track milestones, manage interdependencies and surface risks early to keep complex projects on course.
* Partnering with SLT & C‑Suite: Act as a trusted advisor, providing insight, challenge and strategic support to senior leaders.
* Strategic Business Advisory: Translate complex financial and operational information into clear, actionable recommendations that shape organisational priorities.
* Financial Interpretation & Insight: Analyse forecasts, business cases and performance data to extract the messages that matter for senior decision‑makers.
* Executive‑Ready Communication: Produce compelling presentations, briefing notes and papers that distil complexity into clarity for senior audiences.
What You Bring
* A commercial or finance background (qualified or QBE) with ambition to broaden your strategic and executive‑level exposure.
* Strong analytical capability and the judgement to synthesise complex information into clear recommendations.
* Proven experience producing high‑quality presentations, papers and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
* Advanced stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build trusted relationships across senior leadership.
* Solid project management discipline, tracking timelines, deliverables and risks across multiple workstreams.
* Familiarity with project delivery tools and ERP systems is advantageous.
Salary on offer will vary depending on experience: Base salary £65,000-£75,000, Bonus, Pension, 25 days holiday, PMI.
