Home First Health Care Support Worker – Various localities at NHS Borders
The Home First Service within NHS Borders is expanding. We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs) to join our team.
Overview
Home First is focused on working differently and collaboratively with acute and community teams to support people home or within a homely setting. The localities covered include Berwickshire, Central, Cheviot, Teviot & Tweeddale, with flexible options to meet service needs.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Registered Nursing staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in patients’ homes.
* Coordinate care with other health professionals, patients, and families.
* Support service delivery across localities as required.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work weekdays and weekends on a rotational basis.
* Hours of work are 08:00–20:30 over 7 days.
* Willingness to work without direct supervision and to participate in continuous improvement within a supportive team.
Salary and Terms
Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs per week). For part-time appointments, the salary will be pro-rata.
