Salary: £36,000 - 42,000 per year Requirements: Good understanding of data protection, Freedom of Information and Caldecott Law and Guidance. Good working knowledge of databases / case management systems such as Mosaic, Core or Synergy. Strong knowledge of reporting requirements and processes for either Education, Social Care or Youth Justice statutory returns. Understanding of current legislation concerning either Education, Social Care or Youth Justice reporting and monitoring. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and evaluate information. Excellent ICT skills, including advanced Excel for analytical purposes. Expertise in data visualization, ideally with a working knowledge of PowerBI. Good interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within the team and across departments. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex information into accessible language. Ability to take ownership for improvements in data quality. Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver data collections and statutory returns for the Children, Schools and Families department. Extract data from case management and other systems to develop accurate and timely reports. Develop and contribute to management information and analysis dissemination to internal and external customers. Maintain and develop shared systems to enhance the supply and use of high-quality data. Manage the collection and collation of assigned statutory returns and local performance indicators. Produce data reports that are fit for purpose for departmental and corporate use. Continuously improve data quality and accessibility in case management and information systems. Ensure compliance with government guidelines and safeguarding policies. Support cross-team objectives and contribute to team business plan formulation and implementation. Ensure the security and confidentiality of all data, especially during electronic transfers.
