HGV TechnicianGlasgow £32,000–£35,000 DOE Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm Full-time, Permanent
The RoleBrightwork are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic for a well-established, privately owned company based in Glasgow. This is a weekdays only role, offering an excellent work–life balance, with no evenings, nights or weekends required.
You'll be part of a small onsite maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep of an in-house fleet of Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles This is a steady, well-organised environment, not breakdown cover or shift-based work.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
* Fault diagnosis and mechanical/electrical repairs
* MOT preparation and compliance checks
* Maintaining vehicle safety and roadworthiness
* Working collaboratively within a small engineering team
* Adhering to all health & safety standards
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as an HGV / Truck / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
* Experience working on Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles
* Relevant mechanical qualifications or strong time-served experience
* Able to work independently with a practical, hands-on approach
