5. Focus on top clients through target setting and strategic action plans.
6. Work alongside the Events Manager to organise and deliver high-profile seminars, webinars, roundtables, and brand enhancing networking events
7. Lead and support the rollout of marketing campaigns, utilising a broad mix of channels including; traditional, events, PR, digital content and thought leadership aligned with client needs and market trends
8. Prepare compelling and tailored pitches, proposals and other marketing materials for new business opportunities and client meetings, managing the process from initial draft through to final delivery.
9. Manage relationships with key industry contacts and external membership bodies.
10. Utilise market and client insights to keep up to date with current and emerging issues impacting the industry.
11. Coordinate submissions for legal directories and awards for assigned practice areas.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

12. Proven experience at a Senior Marketing and BD level, or exceptional quality at an exec level, ideally within the legal industry or similar partnership environments.
13. Able to lead on content creation for several outputs, including capability documents, client brochures, pitches, thought leadership campaigns and various social media channels.
14. Experienced in Events / conference management and attendance.
15. Evidence of working as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders such as Partners – giving advice and guidance and being able to challenge where necessary.
16. Experience in the management of sector specific trade memberships and award submissions.
17. Comfortable working across various ‘levels’ of work, from strategic to administrative.
18. Able to take genuine ownership of this role with minimal supervision – managing a complex and varied workload, keeping up to date with news and trends, and being an early adopter of new technology (for example Copilot for research and document creation).
